Mission:

• SOAR works on behalf of residents of Streeterville by preserving, promoting and enhancing the quality of life and community.

Vision:

• to see Streeterville as a unique, vibrant, beautiful neighborhood.

Values:

• a sense of community
• open communication
• maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the neighborhood
• good working relationships with businesses, developers, institutions, and others
• good working relationships with city government
• non-political, non-profit orientation

Goals:

• bring improved public transportation to Streeterville
• insist on responsible development
• increase and preserve green and open space
• advocate a healthful and safe environment
